Accordance Services Collection Released

Do you find Accordance Bible Software useful? Would you like to have quicker access to your Accordance material from within other applications? The Accordance Services Collection gives you that capability. Using the new Services functions in Snow Leopard Mac OS X 10.6, you can look up scripture or text in Accordance or even quickly add scripture texts into a document you're working on. For an overview of what the Accordance Services Collection can do for you, have a look at the video tutorial below.

The Accordance Services Collections can be found on the Downloads page. The install includes a ReadMe file that explains the simple drag & drop installation process.

Yes, these are very similar to the Accordance Actions I created for Quicksilver and LaunchBar. There are new features, especially access to more than the first module of each tool type.

I've been waiting eagerly! Thank you so much! After taking a look at all this stuff, I am just grateful that you would put all this time into it and share it with all of us! SUPER STUFF! THANKS A MILLION! And thank you for taking the time to make it so user friendly and modifiable! Yay.

One thing to add to your read me. The Services and Scripts folders may not exist in the ~/Library folder. I had to create them.

Thanks for making the services!

Question Joe. Can I rename these services, or will that bugger up any of the code?

I love the work done for automation of Accordance. I do have one question. How do I customize how scripture verses are brought into my word processor. With the Query Insert service menu, verses are brought in one by one. How do I make it so when I ask for a range of verses they are brought in as a block? Also I would like the reference placed at the end in parenthesis.

After upgrading to Pages 6.0 and Mavericks, the shortcuts for Accordance no longer shows up in the Services Menu.
