Automator Action for Accordance

If you are familiar with Automator, and if you use it at all, you may be interested in this Automator Action I wrote in XCode to work with Accordance. It receives a text string scripture citation and returns the full scripture text to the next item in the workflow. If you are interested in more information on Automator, start with Apple's site. This will appeal to a limited segment, I know, but for those numbers it will be a welcome tool.
You may get the file here.

This is exactly what I've been looking for, however, I've never used Accordance. It looks like I can get the basics for $39 and add the NASB package for $49. Trying to decide if it's worth it.

You can try out the Library 7 Starter pack, and then later consider the Intro level since you get credit of your earlier purchase applied.
Same goes with NAS... if you purchase in and then later upgrade to the Starter Standar package which includes NAS, all your previous purchase are applied credit.
I have to say... with the April sale going on, the Library 7 Standard includes the NAS group and so much more, and is right now only $159.

I went ahead and bought it. Seems okay. Not too too impressed with it so far, but maybe it'll grow on me.

One question. When using the Automator action to look up a text and then pass it on to the next place in the workflow, it always puts quotation marks around the passage. Is there anyway to get rid of that? I've already turned that feature off in Accordance, but it still does it in the Automator Action.

Les,
Congrats on getting Accordance. I might suggest working through the tutorial to learn about what it can do. Then there's following the Accordance Blog for tips, and if you have any question under the sun, just ask in the Accordance Forums.

As for the quotes, are you using the "Copy as citation" method? You can see in the Accordance preferences that you can make that citation format look pretty much any way you want.
If after fiddling with those options, the Automator action can always be modified to get exactly whatever format you'd want.
Let me know (email is fine... see address in side panel).
