Bart Ehrman on The Daily Show

I watch The Daily Show on Comedy Central nearly every night. (It's where my generation gets its news.) I was looking forward to seeing Bart Ehrman, who was tonight's guest. Prof. Ehrman came across well. Jon Stewart often impresses me with his informed dialogue with an author. However, the interview was rather brief. All they really discussed was the notion that we have no original Greek authorial manuscripts, just copies through the centuries. That in and of itself is a profound point that I often take opportunities to get across to my church members as well. I'm sure the appearance will boost sales for Prof. Ehrman's book, Misquoting Jesus. Future airings can be found on the The Daily Show web page, but they typically include midnight tonight and late morning and early evening tomorrow. The show also included a "This Week in God" segment, which is always worth the effort to see.
